Buddy and Bug

Due to technical difficulties I have moved from Blogger to WordPress.  I have also dropped the title “Housewife Adventures” because I hated seeing my blog sandwiched between porn sites.  I totally just had a visual of the Night At The Roxbury guys…  Ew. 

After entering many different names and finding them to all be snatched up, I finally came up with Buddy and Bug.  This may be subject to change.

Change. 

I really don’t like it. 

So far I am unimpressed with WordPress and it is simply due to my inflexibility.  It looks different.  It behaves different.  I’m not sure how to “decorate” my blog.  I know it’s not called “decorating” but that’s what it is the equivalent of, isn’t it?

Buddy and Bug are the pet names I call my sons and since they are a huge part of what I blog about I thought it was fitting.  I also have an absurd aspiration to be the next Julie and Julia and being discovered as a writer through my blog.  Since it will be read by thousands of strangers (pfft) I decided I ought to clean it up a bit by not giving out too much personal information.  So from henceforth my oldest son will be known as Buddy and my youngest will be The Bug.  Both names will also be interchangeable with such terms of endearment as Turd, Nerd or That One.  My beloved husband will be Husband, Man or Mister.  I’m sure there will be some other spicy names as well depending upon how well/badly treated I am.  The idea is that when my blog goes viral, my family can continue to live in anonymity.  (If you are not yet laughing at me there is something wrong with you.)

Tune in next week when The Bug slips on the ice and shouts, “This is all YOUR fault!  You crazy woman!”
